Will this heal?

my juvie jag's tail has taken a beating, will it heal?
as you can see the damage is right the way down to the body.

It should heal fully. One of my fishes got a similar split in his tail fin right in the center. I don't remember how long it took (pretty long), but there's no sign of the split in his tail now.

I added some aquarium salt in the beginning. At first I was worried if it would heal fully too. His tail is good as new now.
