I posted a thread a few days ago about my 10 inch Oscar dying. He was laying on his side for a few days... Well he made a few recovery and is now swimming about eating like a champ! but While he was in his little bellyache or whatever it was I guess my pacus or catfish picked on him a bit... So I was wondering if these wounds will heal or not?

oscar 1.jpgoscar 2.jpgoscar.jpg Basically his right pectoral fin was nipped on and so was his caudal fin. He is swimming perfectly with ease and also his sides kind of got torn up a bit it looks like. Will just some regular salt and bumped up temperature cure this?

Yes to all of the above. I have a feeling the pacus only picked on him because he was weak so that shouldn't be a problem. Clean water, salt and he'll be good.

Yeah they have been together for over a year now with no problem. they nibbled on him while he was on his side but leave him alone other wise so I don't think they are the problem. hopefully he'll heal up good,.

yup along with some melafix as well...keep it simple

That will definitely heal. It's really not bad compared to some of the things I've seen on here.
