tank is 36long x 18 deep x 24 tall

aqueon t5 2 bulb, (1)6700 and (1)color max
marineland double bright led
aquatraders led (10k and 460nm)

Thanks planted newbie

It's all depend on what kind of plants you trying to keep, low tech or high tech tank.
Ex: for low light, low tech planted tank then it's more than enough.

I'm reading this as you have all 3 fixtures. If this is accurate I would start with the double bright and if that isn't enough go to just the t5. I wouldn't use the aqua traders do to the actinic lights, probably won't hurt anything but wont help either and since you have 2 other options I just forgo this route.

yes i have all 3 fixtures..i have to run the aquatraders light for the actinic simply because of the stupid glow fish the wife bought for the kids the marineland double bright is way lacking on the actinic to show the glow fish colors..not happy about the glow fish in the tank but thats life with a wife and kids

the filtration is set up like my salty tanks...over flow/sump/ and its a 700gph return pump plus a an hob emperor 400

I'd be cautious using the 10K bulbs, might cause you some real algae problems without any pressurized Co2?
