In the past 2 months ive had losts of fish breeding but i got a albino red top zebra mixed with red zebra female thats prob normal right? And i got a sulferhead hap female mixed with a albino red top zebra never seen it what u think new cichlid?

Not really a new cichlid, just more hybrids. Are you sure your hap bred with an albino red top? Usually haps and mbuna don't cross, especially considering the females look nothing alike.

yeah, its not a "new" cichlid...could be a new hybrid...but not really, and i've heard of haps being super horny and breeding with anything that moves....even attempting to breed with koi in outdoor ponds...unsuccessfull of course, but they tried.

Mutts. A hybrid is a mutt, fun and hardy to keep but not worth a whole lot to anyone "in the know"(unless its a flowerhorn...or some such). I had to get rid of all my mutts...for some reason all my fish stopped breeding after these came into the tank. The second the mutts were gone, three sets immediatly spawned...almost like the other fish hated the mutts....weird.

+1 , Interesting Huh . What is the attraction to allowing a situation where hybrids occur ?
