hey guys
signed up for this forum years ago with the wish of one day having a big enough tank to hold some interesting fish. i just got a 792L 209USGal tank and have a fx5 and a fluval 3 plus. i am planning to add a sump if/when needed.

You might at some point have issues with the fire eel trying to eat the rope fish, depending on the size of the fire eel. They go nuts for anything that looks like a worm.
 
4 ropefish is kinda a lot. The fire eel is gonna get huge and they have great personalities, mine is a wee one and SOOOO cute and feeds from my hands. He's only like 8'' atm and I love him to death. I would skip out on the rope and just be happy with the fire eel, i think you would be happier in the long run for how large they get.

what is the minimum sized fish that should be kept with a FE and how long do they take to grow
