Just wondering if this stand would be good for an 8'x4'x18-20" high tank. 2x4s with 3/4" ply and 2"foam sheet on top and 3/4" ply on bottom to hold the sump. I'm just not sure if I need more support in the middle or not.
I can't do any diagonal cuts because I don't have a miter saw and I'll have to buy a power drill and pocket jig just for this. No power tools to use once I move out on my own.
not trying to be a wise ass but home depot sells a 10in chop saw for 99 bucks that would be perfect for this - i have a 12in dewalt that i swear by but for the money the 10in one is ok for home use - dont skimp on this one its a lot of weight and a lot of water to loose
I'll look into it. But I also have to buy other tools since I can't just borrow them here in a few months.
Tho that second one looks a bit overkill to me. Do I just need to do the corners like so or what?
