That will work if your planning on doing a small nano planted tank, I can see it being any good if you plan on getting a tank 40g tank on-up you will be wasting your time filling it .

Agreed!!

It also wouldn't be worth it money wise. Better off spending a little more and getting a full blown compressed system for larger systems
