hello all, just wanted to know if i mix all those fish together in a large setup will it work?

the fish i have in mind is jag, Oscar, Flower Horn, Red Devil, Green Terror, Texus, buttercufi?(can't spell)

all i'm planning is just to have a massive bog wood in the middle so it can break up some vision if any fish wish to swim away from a specific fish.

also i'm planning to add a strong wave maker from my marine setup, so it keeps them on the move and make it diffcult for them to fight.

will this work?

any comment welcome, any tips will be even better :)

in a lake yes otherwise the oscars will probably be the first casualty.

What size tank are you putting them in? Also I'd skip the last one as Africans usually don't mix well with SA/CA.
5x3x2, filter will be Ehieme 2260 bucket filter x 3. A 1500LPH pump to power a aquamedic UV. so filtration should be fine, the only thing i'm not sure is the stocking.

no not a lake

if they are packed together, will it reduce aggression?
i remember i seen it done before and it looks very good.
with all the large cichlids in the same tank, the wow factor was amazing.

don't mix SA/CA with africans. opposite sides of the water parameters. plus, they will not do well since they are aggressive and have different territory needs

It would work for a while if you got them as all small juvies. But once they get large there will be a lot of scrapping going on in there. And the O will be the first victim.

there would be alot alot of fighting

Oscar is too weak to defend itself against others, unless it is the biggest.
Flowerhorn cannot be kept with these fishes because it will bully other fishes until other fishes are dead or the fh is dead.
