Ok. In a 6' by 3' tank could a wolf cichlid, (dovii) jaguar cichlid, and a Texas cichlid live together? If not, I'm either going just wolf or just jaguar. I'm leaning toward wolf as they seem to have better personalities.

x2. The chance of it working out decreases significantly because of a pair. Once they spawn all bets are off. I won't even go close to my dovii tank when they spawn. My male will literally hurt himself trying to get to me :duh:

When they are juveniles? for sure.

Adults? maybe or maybe not. Jaguar's are not trouble makes, neither are texas cichlids, but the dovii is a risk. If you get a female dovii you should be absolutely fine, male dovii maybe or maybe not.

If you are planning for these three cichlids to live together in that 6' by 3' tank their entire lives than get a female dovii, otherwise those three cichlids should be fine:D

Back in 2004 I kept a female dovii, male jaguar, male red devil, female festae, and a male motaguense together in a 210 no problem. Until the jaguar paired up with the female dovii, than they were divided.
