OK,

i have in my posession, a piece of toughened glass 12mmx1200x1000
given that toughend glass is like 5 times the strength of float, and remembering that if it does break it will do so in a big way, this will be an outside project.

i am thinking, a steel frame, (2m long X 1.6m wide X 1m high) made from 50x50x2.5 rhs, spaced every 300mm or so.
Lined with ply maybee 16mm or 20mm.
sealed with a layer of fibreglass and silicone the glass in the front.
Probably only be filled to 900mm deep.
im thinkin some large Australian natives (golden pearch, bass or cod)

any thoughts??

I think the picture is self explanatory! :WHOA:

Where did you get this piece of glass? Second hand glass that has seen long service as shop windows are often of inferior quality. The stresses set up by the effects of heat and cold on the glass could have weaken it to the point that it may fracture under pressure. If a thousand piecies of glass land on your neighbours dog...your in trouble... :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

i didnt consider that,
it is a second hand piece of glass and i dont know how old it is.
maybee be risky huh
