I wonder if a guy vacuum sealed a piece of driftwood if it would help the water penetrate it faster?????

Kinda like using a vacuum sealer to marinate meat.

IDK if it would help waterlog it faster, but i definitely would boil it first before vacuum sealing it in a ziplock or whatever
