Will this work??

I am planning to grow out a baby black arowana, 2 cichls orinos, a NTT DAT, a green phantom pleco, and a royal in my brand spankin new black silicone 80 gallon visio. Do you think all of the fish would be fine??? They are all 2-4 inches.

my experience with arowanas is that baby aros are very sensitive, but at the LFS I actually saw a baby silver with a cichla, but the silvers fins were banged up, also aren't datnoids fighters? black aros are pretty timid, i say don't do it

i suggest you leave the black aro by itself b.c they get stressed very easily

Best to grow out baby aros by themselves up to 6" and then only a few select non aggressive tankmates til it's 10" long.

The cichla will grow faster than the other fish and will turn them to food.

Maybe for a little bit but the arowana will grow much faster than others, especially the datnoids, and they'll be lunch in less than a few months.
