My LFS has a brown clown knife from a trade. Could i Put him In with my CA/SA Cichlids. He is about 6"-7". The Cichlids are about 3"-4". Will they kill him. It's only a temp situation until my other tank is ready in about 2 weeks.
WILL THIS WORK?

Hard to say without more info... Which CA/SA species you have in this tank? Depending on the species, they MAY or WILL kill your knife.

i would not do it...
since its temporary why dont you put a divider up or ask the pet shop to hold it for you for a small fee perhaps?
if you cant put a divider and feel the need to mix them be sure to provide PLENTY of hiding places for the ck.

Ive decided not to do it. I went to the LFS today and the owner said he will be getting some great stock in in the next week. I have decided therefore to continue to cycle my tank and if nothing in the new stock excites me and he's (the bck) is still there i"ll get him then. I was in my Fav LFS today also and they have clown knives,baby bichers, silver aros and what i think is a wolf fish (was just traded in today so he has no label and isnt ready for sale yet, so there will be lots of options for a new monster or 2
