basically want to add acrylic sides (in black, doesn't matter i know) to my fiberglass tub. planning on using silicon to glue the sheets to the sides to make the interior look black. pic of the tub

will it work and anything else i need to be aware of?

On second thought, do you have square angles inside the tank? Our 405 gallon tank has rounded corners inside.

Silicone will not adhere to acrylic

Second that. Silicone will not work. It may feel like it at first, but eventually will let loose

Find a gel coat the in a color you like and that is compatible with the current interior of the tank. Contact the manufacturer if you can.
