Hello; I heard about this also. My first thought was enhanced spyware. The football coach on a side line covering his mouth would be making vibrations onto his game sheet. The windows of a home or car would vibrate even when you can not be seen.
I can also see how it may develope into a tool for plant husbandry. The parameters of healthy plants might be established and a scan of a field might show the condition of a crop. Might the plants have a diffferent vibration when being eaten by a bug or in need of a particular nutrient
Might also be a way to determine if talking or singing to plants actually makes a difference.
This could potentially be as big a development as the microscope was long ago. A new window onto the nature of the world.
