so i thought these would come with a plug attached, but they didnt. they are just the regular 10w led floodlights and have 3 wires coming out. now typically there is a red, black and white wire. im no electrician, but i have messed around with some small things before. these have yellow, blue and brown wires. anyone be able to walk me through and let me know which colors are which?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Some pics would certainly help get a visual of what you are working with. It will make it a lot easier to give you the right advice....especially when dealing with electricity.

sorry dont have pics, which is prob why i ended up with lights that need to be wired. out of the light is one thick black wire, out the end of the black wire is 3 smaller wires, one yellow with green stripe, one blue and one brown

I have one of those also and what i did is just connect the black and the red, I ignored the yellow, I think its ground when you see those 3 prong plugs.. anyways I have mine running for about 6 mo, its OK so far... so i suggest just use the red and black

thanks guys the last post ^^^ is correct, i looked it up its european wiring colors (almost) just needed the plug from home depot check my other threads for some test pics

So we can just connect these to any electrical plug? Does it matter if its 3 pin(some posts say earth ground not needed?, varify please) or 2 pin?
