Just wodering if there is anyone out there that maybe able to give me some ideas as to whats wrong with my trailer lights. I have gotten the right side brake and blinkers working, but I cannot get the left side to work at all. I have taken the white wire (ground) off and sanded the eyelet and the area where it meets the trailer. Any ideas?

Tracdet he wires the length of the trailer. Also make the plug is clear of debris and corrosion. If all is clear and not working, replace plug. Oh, check the bulbs and fuses if you have any.

Yes, start with checking the bulb.

...I checked the bulbs everything is connected correctly and all that jazz, also traced the wires all the way back everything looks pretty good.

I think its the connection where the wires from the trailer light kit were spliced into the wires running to the front of the trailer. The splices are shoddy and not waterproof by any means. They were basically crimped on and thats it, so everytime the trailer gets wet the wires would be exposed to water.

trailer lights are working.

What was wrong? ^

Bad "unit" I had to replace the light itself. I went ahead and ran new wires and replaced the harness while I was at it. Im guess that water had gotten in and corroded the connections. I finally figured it out when I was splicing the new wires in one just popped right off, all green and corroded.
