I need to make cord longer by adding it to another cord. I know I could realistically do it with two of the same cords but idk if these cords are the same inside the black coating. My question is if I could strip the end of this cordimage.jpg and expose the metal wiring and connect those wires to the wires inside of this cord image.jpg or I could wait until Amazon prime day (two days and just order a longer version of the first cord. It's to power one of those LED light rolls the cord it came with is like 2 feet long lol. If nobody replies tonight I'll just wait the 2 days since it's not a huge deal I just wanted something to do tonight since I'm bored

how about just buying a extension cord? lol

Any reasons you can't just simply use an extension cord, Anthony?
I didn't want to add a long extension cord when I only need like 2 more feet lol and I couldn't find an extension cord but it was late and I was bored and wanted something to do, I didn't do it though I'll just wait until tomorrow

lol i woulda just slapped on a extension cord and be done with it hahaha XD

Just go to the dollar store and get a 6' cord and just keep it tied up for the desired length.

It was late, and you were bored, so you want to set the house on fire, or getting electrocute? Lol... Just get an extension cord. If you don't know what you're doing, and don't wrap/insulate the cord well, after you cut and splice it, the outcome could be catastrophe!

You don't learn if you don't experiment! Lol I did find an extension cord but the longer adaptor is on its way from Amazon should be here tomorrow
