Problem:
I have 2 columbian sharks in a brackish 75g. Once in a while, my 9 inch CS grows like an extra pair of pelvic fins (you can kind of see them in my avatar, but they're going away there), and he chases the 5 inch CS around for a week. Then the extra pair of fins goes away.
Well, just this recent time, a little more than a month ago, his fins went away, and the smaller one stopped eating the Hikari Gold sinking cichlid pellets I've been feeding them for months.
He will ONLY eat frozen bloodworms, which are a hassle to feed 3 cubes everyday. Also, the bigger one get's majority. Also, it's expensive and he barley gets any.
Mission:
I'm transfering the smaller one into a 26g that's been cycled.
I'm going to try and get him back onto the Cichlid pellets.
I feel kind of bad splitting them up for a while though, they snuggle every night and the smaller one follows the bigger one around the tank all day. Except when he stopped eating all he did was sit at the bottom.
He is acclimating right now.
