Current stock in my 150 gallon is listed below and I am thinking about adding a single festae. What do you guys think, should I? How would a single one do in a sa/ca community? Anyone with experience? All my current fish are 3-4 in juvies.

Nicaraguansis
Green terror
loiselli pair
Jack demp pair
Carpintis x2
Cyanoguttatus
Red Texas hybrid
Convict x2
Severum x3

What I also have is a empty full cycled 55gallon with 2 blood parrots and a blue acara. The sevs may head into the 55 too if they are in the line of fire but there is no aggression issues at the moment.

I think your already going to be looking at aggression issues in a 150 once these guys mature. Once breeding presents itself, your tank will become a war zone.
Red tex can rarely even be with other fish, no matter the size of the tank. Breeding in a community setting isnt recommended, ecspecially considering your already overstocked. 14 large aggressive cichlids in a 150 is asking for trouble IMO.
Id suggest keeping 5-6 of your favorite males OR have 2 breeding pairs, if breeding is your goal.

I concur

^^this, def dont add a festae or your other fish will be killed when he grows and feels that he does not have enough room from the overcrowded conditions, your tank may not looked crowded now becuase they are all small and it makes you want to add more fish, but just think about the sizes all these fish get to. all of those fish except for the cons and possibly some of the females, have the ability to grow AT LEAST 10" with most of them going over that, your tank will look very cramped when they are all at that size. i would get rid or you least favorite ones, or grow them out a bit more and so you can decide better which ones have the best personalities and colors and then thin out the herd and add some silver dollars or something to add some activity to the tank

If I wanted to add a festae What would the best combination be I really am set on keeping the loiselli pair green terror and carpintis, though

take out the convicts and then get the festae.

all of the others would be ok? Im thinking just move the severums and convicts to the 55, and move the blue acara to the 150, then add the festae? what is the best way to do this, with my stock and a 150g and a 55g?

move the blue acara severums and convicts to the 55.

then what is left in the 150 would be 2 loiselli, 2 carpintis, 2 texas, 1 nic, 1GT, 1 blue acara, and 2 dempseys. If i added a festae, would there still be a blood bath at some point? who would rule this roost, the festae? I'd hope for a female, though i dont know how much that would make any difference
