do you guy feed with or without shell on when you feed market shrimp? is there an advantage

no shell for small aros, with shell and tail for big aros. I feel it brings out colours more if you leave shell on.

dont leave shell or tail some ppl's arow choked and died O_O

The exoskeletons/shells of many marine inverts contain beta carotene, which has been found to be associated with/ and contribute to the development of red pigments in arowanas.

I guess that explains why shrimp/crab/lobster meat turns pink/red when its cooked.

Thats why i only feed 2 feet long aros shrimp with tails on. anything below that either gets shrimp with shell or just shrimp with no shell.

mines like 10-12in...shell or no shell

When I still had my 17" Black and my 18" Jardini I would do both and they would easily eat both too...

At that size, I would probably either feed cut up shrimp with shell or just full shrimp with no shell. Dont try full shrimp with shell at that size though, might be kind of dangerous.

yea i never feed my fish with shell/tail
