Thats fish for you! They have their own plans regardless what you provide? I had a female lay right in the middle of the tiled bottom tank.

I d say a 100 times. They re hardwired different. Nothing works with logic :)

My discus always lay on the filter intake, despite scads of cones, wood, plants, etc. Silly fish
