Yeah, the way the irrdescent cats swim makes them look like a wounded bait fish, especially like a silver side. Cause they're constantly moving and moving irradically. I had the same problem with one and an arowana and some predatory cichlids. Once he starts swimming that way their instinct kicks in and they want to tag it; luckily the pangassius has those spines that protrude from its fins which probably kept yours alive. I would suggest. I would suggest putting a tank divider or a breeder cage in the tank, so they're used to his presence. Do so for a week, then release him and his presence won't be such a shock or temptation.
