Tank been up and running for a couple of months now and finally got the light unit I have been waiting for to be manufactured. Suspended from ceiling and it looked great, Been running for a week no problems, but when the unit turned up it was damaged in transit and had a dent in the top of it, I put up with the dent as it was on the top and the unit appeared to work fine BUT, I woke up this morning to a power cut. Realised after some frantic checking that the light unit had caused the power to trip, Can only assume the dent on top of the unit has caused internal damage, once I had checked out everything and turned the lights back on I saw one of the white tubes flickering. The unit worked for about a minute then crapped out and tripped the electric off again. I'm gutted as I waited nearly 4 months for this unit to be supplied by the manufacturer as it is their new model and only just released. Not their fault as clearly the idiot couriers have damaged the unit in transit. Should have sent it straight back but being xmas I knew it would bee a pain in the arse and as it was working I decided to hang it up and use it. Wish I had not done so now. All I can be grateful for is I was not at work when this happened. Think I lost power for about an hour. Could have been worse if I had been at work! Needless to say my tank is in darkness again now until I get a replacement unit.
