hikari gold pellets, earthworms ( I raise) he eats tilapia and smelt that I feed my bichirs. he was fine last night eating well. i did a water change 80% 2 days ago. water params are all in line. never had an issue with him or any in this tank.
I guess no tank mates missing or you would have mentioned it; was wondering if maybe he did some hunting at night. Hope he's ok until you get home and can give him an epsom salt bath.
yeah all the tank mates are way to big to eat and there's no décor he could have swallowed.

came home to this!!! I fully expected to find him dead but i'm glad hes not!
Wow that's awesome, nice hear. Not at all sure it's even possible but I wonder if it was some kind of temporary internal gas build-up?
