Someone once told me that Tinfoil Barbs are built like tanks. I think he was right.
My wife woke me up this morning telling me that one of the fish jumped out of the tank. Sure enough, my largest Tinfoil, approx 10 inches, was lying on the floor. It was pretty much dried out and I had no idea how long it was out of the tank. Its gills were still moving so I picked it up and put it back in the tank. I pretty much thought it was a gonner but after 20-30 min of floating upside down it righted itself and appears to have pulled through.
Sure am glad I didn't give up on it.
