wolf compatibility with stocking list....

Okay.... we are setting up a 220 gallon aquarium... In it may be a black/silver aro... (hopefully black) either royal or clown knife in it... (those are what I am wanting the most in the tank) we are looking at a VERY HEALTHY drop off red-bellied pacu with great color at Scotts' (aquarium oddballs is the name of the lfs)

we are unsure about him... we don't know the whole list but there will be

a huge lima shovelnose

hopefully a royal or clown knifefish

definately a black or silver arowana

mmmmaaaaaaayyyyyybbbbbbbeeeeee the pacu at the lfs


what I was wondering is what kind of wolve(s) could go in there

at first I was thinking a school of erythrinus erythrinus (like 3)


also I like the wolf-fish with a torpedo body with short stocky heads

but I also like any wolf

what wolf could be compatible? please post pics of the species....

again I am unsure if a wolf could even go in there... as the big ones could kill the knives and the aros or if it is small it could get eaten...

im not sure about this. but someone told me that when wolf fish get bigger nothing can be kept with it. cuz itll eat anything

I've even had wolf fish (Hoplias malabaricus) eat other similarly sized wolves.

right, honestly I would only like the erythrinus erythrinus school in there with larger chitala or nopterus, and osteoglossum...

see i was always told that wolf fish were as bad as snakeheads. and i had a snakehead wipe out everything in my cichlid tank... with that in mind i would just not get it.
