I have noticed mine has learned to associate me with food and now comes up to when I go in the room to feed anyone else's do this too?

Yes, my red wolf fish (erythrinus, erythrinus) does this. It swims up to the top and takes freeze dried krill.
Wolf fish are probably the easiest to feed fish out there aside from RTCs
Same here. My red and gold learn about their feeding time and get exciting everytime i walk near their tanks.
