Wolf fish died

1 of my wolf fish ended on the floor under my draw. I was looking for it in the tank for a while. i thought it was hiding in the gravel. when i was cleaning my 10 gal tank. i moved the draw and i saw it on the floor dried up!! it was crunchy and hard. That was the first fish to die from my tank besides feeders. is it normal for them to jump out the tank?

Yes its normal for them to jump, keep a tight lid.
I use velcro to keep the lids secured down.

I lost a 15" a long time ago to jumping out.

10mm lids with small additional bags of sand for my tankbuster tanks. I drill a 15mm hole in the middle of one lid for small feeds since 10mm lids are heavy to move daily.
