I just noticed that my wolf fish has a white mark on his eye. it does not look like fungus, however it is on the outside of the eye. Any ideas on treatment? Is this reversible? I don't want him to have a bum eye the rest of his life.

How is your water quality? This can happen in two ways, either from an abrasion or from bad water. from the looks of the gravel, and it only effecting one eye, its probably from an abrasion. just keep up water changes and watch it, it should heal.

wait until someone else chimes in though, as that spot is a little different that the ones i've seen.

Water quality and parameters are good, except there was a shrimp that was uneaten and left in there for 3 days while I was gone. I pulled it out when I saw it, but by then there was a good amount of mold on the shrimp. I was thinking this might have contributed? Though I am also thinking it is an abrasion from the driftwood. But, as you said it is a very weird spot and I've never seen anything like it.
