wolf fish Hoplias malabaricus ???s

ok i got a wolfish yesterday hes about 8-9 inches i put him in my pirhana tank that was a no go pirhanas trying to eat him so now hes in a 20 gall on till tommorow ill be moving him to a bigger tank i put a few convicts in there for dinner he hasnt bothered with them he has been hanging on the bottom of tank ?? is this normal do they not swim ?? just hang on bottom? not eat?
because the pirhanas stressed him? tank to small? the move? or is this normal behavior he doesnt appear very aggressive the guy before me that had him said he killed all fish in tank...? not seeing that here?? any ideas thanks guys!!

might be just to new an environment for his kill crazy behavior to show itself yet and of course he did get stressed, get him established, then he might start killing everyone lol

Wolves are mean, but even they mellow out when their surroundings change a lot. Let him get established in a tank for a week or so and his aggression should come back.
