Wolf Fish ID please and info

Im looking for an id and some info on this guy. Hes still at the lfs but im gonna try to pick him up soon. Any info appreciated.

Look very Mala-ish, most likely a Mala, and I would grab it.
It's got a very nice and clean colouring with white gravel.
Which is something that I'd want in a Malabaricus.

Alright sweet. Im glad he looks good. Im probably going to get him tomorrow. Im a little bummed about his size because i wanted one smaller but he will do. Thanks for the information guys.

It's neither stressed out nor platinum,it's just over white gravel,they blend in

lol yeah the camouflage in hoplias species really do stand out. It definitely blends in less botchy than some of the ones I've seen.

Platinum Malabaricus? Probably don't exist
