Wolf fish ID

I am pretty sure it is a red but I am new to wolf fish

He is tiny 2-3" if he is lucky

This is not ery ery to me.
Looks like a sp.Peru.
Red wolf has a red-orange tail and the dorsal fin.
Sp.Peru has a black spot by the tail like your fish.

Sp. Peru should be around the same care and max size 8" correct?
