Wolf Fish Question

Hi guyz!!!

My wolf fish is 12 inches. Recently (since 2 months or so now, he's showing some patches on his head area) . Is this some type of parasite?
What kind of safety measures should I take?
Fish was never on live feeders. Eats a great deal of pellets with prawns etc.

Could be from scrapes or beginning of hith. Are u checking ur water? If so post the numbers with the gh, kh and ph.

Yes it can but way more in cichlids.

Check nitrates also. They are thought to contribute to hith and hlle.

NH3 kit showed a slightly high reading compared to the recommended level. Did 50% water change. Now gonna have to regularly monitor the levels for next 2 weeks.
