So right now I'm going to be setting up a dedicated tank for my Hoplias malabaricus which is currently in a 55g grow out. I'm going tomorrow to check out and hopefully get a 125g, for a steal, for it to call home. It will be the only fish in this tank. I have everything else except glass lids to get the build completed. I'm slowly gathering some driftwood pieces and rocks for when I make the switch. I'm in the process of switching to pellets which is going well. Here's the latest driftwood that I'm soaking in my rosy quarantine tank. So it will sink, I attached some slate to the bottom but it's not enough so once it's gets some water soaked into it hopefully it will sink on it's own.
This is a really entertaining fish to watch when you feed them.
