Wolf Fish tank mates...

I had an Odoe pike with mine, but I think my wolf drove it to suicide..... so, no success on my end.
I've had one with MANY polypteus of varying size from 5" to 12". Only issue was a nipped fin of big ornate and a raphael cat 3" that got bit once. Wolf was standard grey one with stripe along the body (idont remeber name). Wolf was 6" at the end before I sold it.
How long did you have your wolf? I got my guy earlier this year at around 4" and he just about a foot long now. I don't think I'd trust him around anything less that 1.5x his size.
He used to share a split tank with an electric catfish. When the catfish would shock him he would charge their barrier and try to dig under it to get at him. My Mala is not a nice fish.

I had a 12" mala with a 6" ornate and they were fine. The mala would only care about the ornate if the ornate bit him or stole a feeder from him. That mala jumped out when I was at work, when I came home it was too late.
bichirs and wolf fish are good fit. May some large nonskittish predetory characins are also good. Such as african tiger fish and large payara.....
malas are quite aggressive though. I only knowthat red wolves can be property house with tankmates with little issue.
