im getting a 3.5 inch red wolf tomorrow and i have two possible options for him, just wondering on opinions about which one would be the best. I can either put him in a 40 gallon breeder for a few months till he gets bigger, i know some fish like that, or, i can just put him in his permenant 75 gallon tank. so, since there is very little info for wolf care online id thought id ask, any opinions

no, no tank mates, just him, hes gonna have a tank all to himself

i would go with the 40 gallon now cuz its smalled and if your not going with live fish as food it will be easier for him to find

Any other opinions? I'd really appreciate it. :)

if you put him in the 75 he may hide alot . From my experiences with wolf fish if theres alot going on in a tank they hide. My old tank had a wolf fish with a hiding spot on each end and thats all. I think he will like the 40 for now

definately the 75g. He'll thank you for it later. And with a 75G you could introduce a few tank mates so they can grow together, reducing the possibility of aggression.
