Last week i came home to find my 7 inch. polypterus' tail hanging out of the mouth of my 9 inch wolf fish. I couldn't believe my wolf fish could have swallowed him. In the tank i also have two 12 inch Red Bellied Pacu, one 12 inch clown knife and a 6 inch peacock bass. I think that the wolf fish ate the polypterus because i fed them feeders the week before, and he was hungry again. I don't want the wolf to eat my peacock bass too. Is there anyway i could avoid this from re occuring

Take the wolf or the other fish out of the tank. The wolf will eat anything it catches, and is small enough to fit in it's mouth.
Definately need to buy a tank for your wolf fish. Looks like they get really big. Where did you get yours? I want one but am not able to give it a proper home so.....no wolf fish for me....wow, how old is you fish....how long have you had it?
