i have a Wolf Fish (holpias malabaricus) in a 50gal wide tank one he started acting wierd he wasnt interested in any feeders at all (which is VERY unlikely for a wolf fish) he started rubbing himself on the decor in the tank and was swimming around likie a mad fish. here are some pics:
i emailed these exact pics to the lfs an they told me it looked like a Bacterial Infection an gave me some Melafix to handle it. On the bottle it tells me to put the right amount on into the tank daily for 7 days then to do a 50% water change. well now im 4 days into that an he seems to have developed some kind of like fuzzy stuff on his fins here is a pic of that too:
I dont know if this is his healing process or if its something else all together he is acting better than he was he used to just hide in his cave all day and all night but now he moves around an he ate as well. Also what else could i do to help the healing process?? this is the first time ive ever had a fish get an infection so i dont know if im doing it right please help???
