hey is it possible to keep any species of wolf fish with ca cichlids? i was thinking maybe a red wolf? thnx

This question gets asked about every week, No the wolf will either eat the cichlids or get picked on to death, No cichlids with any wolves.
That's not correct - although with large aggressive SA/CA cichlids it might happen.
Smaller species of SA/CA cichlids have co-habed in my Charciform tanks just fine. My old SP. Peru lived with a breeding pair of Salvini.

My Gold Wolves and Black are with two Geophagus Brasiliensis. Its risky with a Hoplias Sp. but ery and Hoplerthrinus would probably be fine, as long as the cichlids aren't big enough to eat them or bully them, or small enough to be eaten.

ok well it would be in with 2 female jds a ebjd 3 geos and a blood parrot, along with a few catfish, so i am guessing no go on the wolf
