Can a channel catfish do this? This is the only fish i suspect since it only has 4 corys in there as well. The wolf also has a few white spots on each side. More like a patch, one spot not a few small ones. I have since removed the catfish from that tank. I have seen them fight for a spot under the drift wood, but nothing major until now. The wolf seems ok other then the white spots and the nipped fins. The wolf is around 4 in and the cat prob around 5in. Is this the problem or should i look into something else for the safty of my fish?

well if your wolf keeps getting nipped at, it will snap one day. and when it does, the mark will be very noticable, for their teeth will take a chunk out of ur other fish..ive seen dis happen b4 to a clown knife

those are the spots i was taking about. Those just from fighting? not the best pic, if you need a clearer one let me know!

yes a little more clear shot would be preffered..btw..is dat a malabarcus?

ok cool

hmmm..dat looks like scabs from constant beating or nipping. i'm actually surprised that the wolf haven't done anything back to the catfish. well i'd reconsider about having that catfish with the wolf, if the catfish is trully the reason for dis.
