wolf fish with his scales falling off. Helpp needed ASAP

Hi i have a red wolf fish and his scales are falling off. it's not a injury. It seems that scales are droping out of his body (like dropsy). what is happening? Any cures? or the places that the scales have fallen, it is turning white. The tank is cycled in stuff. should i add stress coat, melefix, OR salt??? Need help ASAP. He is still eating like normal.

Pics and water parameters would be helpful as well.

+1 to the above, however I would always be running some salt on a freshwater pred tank.

That being said, this fish needs to be medicated at this point it sounds like. I would set up a QT tank if you havent already.
