Wolf Fish With Oscar and Others

Im 99.999% sure it will not work but I have never owned a Wolf Fish so I thought id ask. Can a wolf coexist with an oscar, polypterous and a florida gar?

The oscar is pretty mellow and so are the rest but I know wolves can be pretty

Depends on the wolf. I had a 16" one that lived with similar sized polys, gar and some big aros no problem. I had another that was very aggressive.

From the experience i had with wolves, as long as the oscar and the other fishes don't bother the wolf they will be fine. My 3 inch convicts never bothered my 9 inch wolves and they got along fine. My 7 inch jaguar on the other hand ended up with scratches and cuts which thankfully healed over time.

I had my Red Wolf with my Oscar, and they would constantly fight. Normally the Wolf ended up winning.
It all depends on the species and the tank size.

the key is keeping them fed. i keep a 14in black with 12-20in polys and a couple large oscars and never have any problems. however i go through a 2.2lb bag of massivore a month as well as 2-3lbs of shrimp a month...
