Hi guys, just looking for opinions on this. I have not done it yet until I can get a straight answer but my wife is nagging me to move my wolf fish out of her tank ( it was mine until she decided otherwise) because it ate her convict! Another fish keeper on Facebook said I could keep the wolf fish in my piranha tank with my 6 red bellies. I’m not so sure this would work though.
my piranha are VERY active since I figured out the conditions they like and I have successfully kept a large common pleco with them for awhile without problems. However I’m skeptical as I don’t want to lose a piranha or a wolf fish!
Has anyone here had success or even disaster with mixing these?

This sound like the perfect time to get a new tank.

+1 with both above posts. ?

If you care about any fish, don’t put them in with piranhas. It might go well for a time, but if and when something goes wrong it often goes really wrong. I missing face, tail, or a big chunk missing from a body. If there are a few of them it could be even more serious.

I have experienced this when my blood parrot cichlids layed eggs and tried to lip lock the piranha. Didn’t go so well for the cichlid.

Don’t mix the two.
