I have read that a 75 gallon tank is enough for a wolf fish, and I was wondering if I kept up with my water changes, and made sure both are well fed if I could keep a wolf fish with my existing 10" oscar. I have good filtration.

Yes. Although u can never predict behavior. But yes.

Depends on the wolf. Aimira get 4-5' long.

Ya, i was thinking black Wolf fish rodger rodger

A slightly smaller black wolf can be kept with ur Oscar. That way as it gets bigger it won't try kill it.

I have an 8" black wolf that shredded my Chinese Wels, so don't be so sure.

Ur right it's all about temperment as mentioned. If it's smaller it will be less likely to attack the Oscar. But being smaller makes it less likely to go after a bigger Oscar. Can try and keep a divider ready. Get a bunch of dithers as an alternative plan.

Also, if i were to pass on the wolf fish are there any types of gar that would work?

Florida gar maybe but tank size might be a little small.

My Florida gar is only about 14" and never shown aggression to anything.
