Wolf guys; Hoplias Co-haB

Hi all,

I'm considering getting another Curupira at the moment, howerver, as a few will know, I already have a very large Curupira so was wondering if anyone is keeping two Blacks together or if not two blacks, two Hoplias sp. together? I'm really interested to know how it has gone, the sizes of fish involved and how they generally behave around each other.

I'm hopeful of realy world, applied experience please and I'm sure it's possible given that these things have to live together in nature in order to breed!

I have seen some examples of Hoplias, Particulaly Lacerdae group Hoplias kept together. Some Mala and curupira combos, I am sure some of them are on here.

My own personal expearence is that I tried both another curupira and a lacerdae with mine and niether worked out. Nothing was killed just torn up fins that repared quickly, I did pull them out quickly, given time I don't know if they would have worked out. As with all these combo's there is a risk.

I think that's it; some will and some won't but like my Gold/ Black combo, it had to be tried to know one way or the other.
