Howdy

I am slowly switching my black wolf from silversides to Hikari Jumbo Carnisticks. Seems to accept them after a few days of trying. He hits the floating stick the very moment it hits the surface. At first he spat it back out, but the past couple of times started swallowing it. Having said that, I am still at the _very_ beginning of the switch!

Anyone else with success stories? A few sticks don't fill the stomach like 3-4 silversides would even if it's the same caloric content. What's your experience?

Anyone got their wolves on prepared food? Pellets?

My Iguaza and baby Aimara have been on floating carny sticks for a couple months now. Had no intentions of it, just had them in with the Armatus and they caught on. Unfortunately so did the rays...... :(

My ery loves massivore, will also eat carnisticks... quite fun watching him maul pellets :D

Just a quick update: My Black Wolf is finally accepting Massivore. Reluctantly, but he takes 1-2 pellets during feeding of the tank. I figure that's enough considering it's equivalent to 2-3 goldfish...

All mine ate was carnisticks and tilapia but I had it on pellets since it was 3in.DSC_0661.JPG

Freeze dried krill and shrimp as well as massivore, and I throw in shrimp pellets for the ery just cause I have some, other than that I feed night crawlers and feeders once in a while as a snack. This is for a curu, mala, and ery ery all in the same tank.

lol I hate pellets, carnistick and massivore (I couldn't stand the smell from them) :) once I got my predators off live with market prawns then they will on that forever with occasionally live feeder once in a while.
