Which specioes of wolf fish stays the smallest?
What is the min tank size for this fish?
I am interested in keeping a wolf but im running out of room. I love the look of these fish and i am reaqlly interested in getting one.

The red wolf fish (Erythrinus Erythrinus or Erythrinus sp Peru) tays the smallest, around 8" full grown. I'd say at least give it a 40 breeder minimum.

all erythrinus (the red/rainbow) wolves stay around 8".
occasionally larger.
minimum 40g.
if youre looking for TEETH i would say you might be disappointed in these.
they dont exactly have common wolf dentistry even though they still show.
they are not aggressive as well.

What a fish the red wolf is, i dedicated a 3ft tank to one a while back but i had to sell it when i thined out on my collection , a stunning fish and an enjoyable fishkeeping experience too.

As said above rainbows stay the smallest but keep in mind they can still be very aggressive

no.
im saying that erythrinus have the common names red wolf or rainbow wolf.
meaning they are the same thing but can be found in both names.
