Howdy,

Previously I asked about ery+ery. Hit or miss. Anyone successful with 2+ malas, blacks, others? I am only aware of the legendary A-Team.

Pls share your story.

My 13" Aimara and 19" Lacardae get along fine......

Never had a problem with tank mates.... Have had them together in a tank along with an Aro, Clown Knife, Dorado, Brycon, lots of rays, Barbs, Armored cats, Fire Eel. Only problem was between 2 male Dorado, one's a prick, the other is fine with all the tank mates listed.

There was a guy out in Chicago- Cesar, that had a half dozen+ Malas in a 180. IF I'm not mistaken I think he even had a pair of them breed.

I think Wolves are misunderstood. I think they're fine with pretty much anything they can't eat OR is NOT human, net, siphon etc..... lol.

I've seen pictures of what DB's talking about on another forum. I believe he may have had 8-10 larger malas in there at one time, and he said there was little to no aggression between them.

I seen someone with a breeding pair of mala's on another forum a couple years ago, but I've never personally had a community with more than one wolf.

I too saw the pics of what the others were talking about, owner's name is Chris..I think he posted some pictures here too. if remember those weren't full grown h. mala but were mature enough to breed, and the tank was around 125.

I think it depends on the personality and size difference. if there's not size difference and there are some visual barriers then might work.
had a h. mala together with a bigger h. microlepis in a 75g before, about 6in vs 10in, the smaller h. mala was always staying away from the bigger h. microlepis. if there's no other dither in the tank then h. microlepis would be on the hunt for the little h. mala.
