I have recently downloaded the wolffish DVD from aquatic-experts.com

The video is a little crude in it's production but still an awesume video, It follows what looks to be a trip to capture an aimara for a public aquarium but includes underwater shots of their environment as well as some really good shots of Malabaricus and groups of Gold wolves in there natural environment. Particulaly good if you want to create a Biotype. It is download only now but even though it's small res it still looked good when streamed to the TV. The aimara they capture is huge.

An absolute must for any wolffish fanatic.

I have it on disc when it first came out along with the other three various disc's. Ivan really did a good job on these dvd's.
I went to the Valencia Aquarium to see that wolf, but it died.
I plan to go back to Venezuela in the coming year as I have alot of family scattered down there. I also should post my video's of the Aquarium soon as well.
My brother in law fishes all the time in the Apure river as he lives by it.

Sounds interesting, definitely interested in watching it. My favourite type of aquarium setup are biotopes. BBC nature documentaries are my main source for ideas, but this seems like it's worth the watch.

It's a shame it died, do you know how long it was there? I do plan to get the other video's, It's download only now and really cheap. I really want to setup a Mala and group of gold wolves now.

I would love to visit Venezuala, theres a lot South America I would like to visit.

I always try to closely replicate biotypes, not very successfully so far. I am massive fan of BBC nature docs, as I m in the uk I have been watching them for a very long time. I have only seen the wolf video which was really good for me as it showed the the environment of the fish I am keeping. There is another video on the site that has a much more varied collection of underwater habitats which might be a good watch.

Thanks for sharing I would want to watch it.

For $19 it ws a good buy, definatly one for wolf enfusiasts.

Definately a good video. Hey Jelly, any I.D. on the super aggressive smaller hoplias species that they picked up??

I have all of the video's on disc format. All are great, very informative.I am not too sure how long the Aimara was in the tank. I can find out hopefully. In the furture I will be seting up a tank full of Gold Wolves also.
